Fully integrate Magento Community version with OpenERP and CRM as a module
Set up a tab as one of the key modules for the FULL integration of Magento Community Open Source software to the OpenERP and CRM enterprise solutions. There is no need to reinvent the wheel as Magento is the largest OPEN SOURCE installed and used shopping cart on the internet and is only getting better and better. Over 120,000 E commerce site are currently using Magento. OpenERP needs to embrace the best of breed and make this work seamlessly with Accounting, Warehouseing, and the CRM modules and others if applicable since E commerce is where it is all at. This also needs to work for multiple stores so one can keep track of where the sales are coming from and which stores are producing and those that aren't.

Totally agree on the integration package, but I would have it st up so that other people using other E commerce websites caa do the same seemlesly, Zen cart, Virtue mart, Hikashop, etc. This would put OpenERP ina class of its own right at the top of all ERP systems. Multi shops of course, I would also go as fa as to say Ebay and Amazon as well.

This would be a very good integration without having to use a module or plugin, instead it comes in the package and you can enable or disable depending on if you use the Magento eCommerce platform or not.
I've seen and researched other Magento community plug-ins for Magento/OpenERP integration and there are a few that offer integration but it's still blurry on exactly how and or what the plug in does.
